Company History
Jim Borda is the founder and owner of bordaMed, a Williamsburg, Va. based provider of health care information technology services and physical therapy products. Health IT (HIT) and Customer Service are Borda’s passion, which led him to sales and support in the physical therapy and rehabilitation industry in 2006.
Borda quickly realized there was a great need for IT support in small and mid size healthcare facilities and expanded the business platform to include IT consulting for Healthcare professionals and support to vendors who are transitioning into the HIT industry.
He has established himself as a specialist in strategic operations, business development and an effective communicator of IT to the layperson. More importantly, he is a leader and expert in the creation of high performance teams and has established the bordaMed network of partners and colleagues, who help bring cost effective solutions to all stakeholders and patients alike.
Borda, 39, previously served as a Manager and Business Specialist in the IT Support industry and helped create, implement and improve customer service business processes for Microsoft, MCI, Comcast, AT&T, Time-Warner, Canon, IHS, Sears and the U.S. Navy.
Borda holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix and persues ongoing education at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Opencourseware.
